Burlington rear extension
A two-bay rear addition opened a 1950s side-split to the back garden without losing its mid-century footprint.

The owners had bought a side-split in 2018 and lived in it for four years before deciding what they actually wanted. The brief was clear: more light, a real kitchen, and a back wall that connected to the garden their kids spent every weekend in. We added six hundred square feet at the rear, retained the original side-split floor plan up front, and matched the existing rooflines so the addition reads as part of the original house.
